Ashland University women's tennis fell to 3-4 overall and 1-4 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on Friday (Oct. 6) afternoon, as it lost 9-0 at Northwood.

Against the Timberwolves (4-0, 4-0), freshmen Hazuki Ogino and Camille Ringot had the best doubles showing for the Eagles, losing 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

Sophomore Allison Brooks, leading the team with four singles wins this season, lost 6-4, 6-1, in the sixth position. That was Ashland's closest singles match.

Despite the loss, the Eagles are still off to their best seven-match start since 2013-14.
