Eagle Women Earn 2017-18 ITA All-Academic Honors

Ashland University's women's tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the 2017-18 academic year.

To be eligible for ITA All-Academic honors, a team must be an ITA program, and have a team cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.00 scale. Ashland's for the year was 3.60.

Six Ashland women's tennis players earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors. To be eligible for a Scholar Athlete award, an individual must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50, and have been enrolled at their current institution for at least two semesters.

Sophomore Brianna Brdicka (3.79), sophomore Allison Brooks (3.54), freshman Sofie Garpered (3.73), junior Natalie Keron (3.85), senior Elizabeth Kidd (3.93), and freshman Camille Ringot (3.89) were the Eagles women's tennis ITA Scholar Athlete award recipients.  

This is the second consecutive year that Ashland women's tennis has earned the All-Academic Team award.
