Ashland University's women's tennis team took a 7-0 loss to Michigan Tech on the road on Saturday (Sept. 22).
Michigan Tech advanced their record to 2-0 on the season and have not yet lost a match.
Sophomore Camille Ringot and freshman Huntyr Lake played the tightest of the doubles matches for the Eagles, falling 6-4. In singles play, it was junior Allison Brooks in the sixth spot who had the best outing for the Eagles. Brooks won her first set before eventually losing the match, 4-6, 6-1, 10-2.
Ashland will play next on Sunday (Sept. 23) at Lake Superior State University at 10 a.m.
