Ashland University's women's tennis match dropped a match at home on Sunday (Oct. 6) against Bellarmine.
The Eagles (8-4) were only able to win one match on the day, losing 6-1.
Junior Hazuki Ogino won her match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, to earn Ashland's only point on the day.
The Eagles were close on two other matches. Junior Anna Hart and sophomore Huntyr Lake both went to a third set, but were narrowly defeated.
Ashland will play next at Saginaw Valley State, as the Eagles resume Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday (Sept. 12).
