Ashland University's women's tennis team lost in its regular-season finale on Sunday (Oct. 20) to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Grand Valley State.
The Eagles (8-8 overall, 3-6 GLIAC) lost 6-1 to the Lakers to close the season.
Junior Camille Ringot and sophomore Gabriella Hudec were the lone duo to earn a win in doubles play for Ashland. The pair won their No. 1 match, 7-5.
The lone Eagle to win a singles match was senior Allison Brooks, who won her No. 6 match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
Ashland will begin play at the GLIAC Championships on Friday (Oct. 25).
