2009: In her second season with the Eagles, Martin gained valuable experience as the libero. She led the team in digs (487) and aces (41). She was fourth in assists with 17 and was on the court for 115 sets.

2008:  Martin established herself as the go-to libero for the Eagles during her freshman season. She finished the year as the team leader in digs with 388. She was seventh in the GLIAC with 3.77 digs per set. She recorded her first of 21 double-digit dig totals in the second match of the season against Saint Leo on Aug. 29. Martin also had four matches of 20+ digs, including her career high of 24 against Ferris State on Oct. 10. Her play as a freshman earned her honorable mention All-GLIAC laurels.

High School: Martin was a four-year letter winner in both volleyball and track and field at Independence. The three-time first-team Chagrin Valley Conference selection was also named as a first-team all-district selection in 2006-07. Martin was also a two-time regional finalist in track and field.

Personal: The daughter of Raymond and Marian Martin, she is an athletic training major.
