2009: In her third year with the Eagles, Schweitzer continued to improve her setting and defensive skills. She played in 57 sets for the team, finishing with 10 aces and 45 digs. She was second on the team in assists with 78 and was named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.
2008: Schweitzer played in 78 sets and in 24 matches in her sophomore season. She was third on the team with 32 service aces and added 53 digs. She recorded her first career kill at Northern Michigan and then had another at Northwood. She was also named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.
2007: Seeing increased playing time at the end of the year, Schweitzer became a staple in the back row of the Eagle defense. She finished fifth on the team in service aces (24) and tied for sixth in digs (101). She recorded her season-high in digs (10) against Fort Lewis College on Aug. 31. She played in 83 of the 111 sets played.
High School: Schweitzer was the 2006 district player of the year and team captain for her final three seasons. She was a main factor on the 2005 and 2006 district champions. Bishop Watterson won the Central Catholic League championship during her senior season. Earning letters in both volleyball and basketball, the setter was third-team All-Ohio in 2006. Schweitzer played for Charles Gileich at Bishop Watterson.
Personal: Schweitzer is the daughter of Mark and Margaret Schweitzer. She is a fashion merchandising major.
