Snider Earns National Player of the Week Honor

After receiving her first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference (GLIAC) Player of the week nod for the 2012 season, Brittany Snider (Olmsted Falls, Ohio / Olmsted Falls ) was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Player of the Week (AVCA) for the second time in her career as an Eagle.

The senior outside hitter was recognized by the AVCA after an amazing performance at the Lock Haven Tournament where she helped lead her team to 4-0 record on the weekend. AU is 7-1 overall.

Snider tallied 69 kills last weekend, recorded 144 total attacks, had six assists, registered seven aces and 55 digs. She averaged 5.46 points per game through the weekend.

She is the only current Eagle to win the player of the week title twice, her first AVCA accolade came in 2009.
