The Ashland University volleyball team team rolled to a 3-0 victory over Lake Erie on Tuesday (Oct. 31) at Kates Gymnasium. The win upped AU's record to 19-6, 9-5 in GLIAC play.

Ashland swept the Storm, 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.  AU was led by senior outside hitter Brittany Snider (Olmsted Falls, Ohio), who had 17 kills. Junior middle blocker Susie Jonas (Harrison, Ohio), this week's GLIAC South Division player of the week, had seven kills and three aces.  Junior Marci Zegarac (Lansing, Ill./South) had a team-high 15 digs.

Senior setter Crystal Elliiott (Canal Winchester, Ohio) had 38 assists.

Jamie Hoppe and Sara Aultz had five kills each for Lake Erie. The Storm is 3-20, 0-14 in the GLIAC.

This was the first of five consecutive home contests for the Eagles. On Friday (Nov. 2, 7 p.m.) the Eagles host Tiffin and on Saturday (Nov. 3, 2 p.m.), Ohio Dominican comes to Kates Gymnasium.
