Ashland University junior outside hitter Casey Clark is this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division Player of the Week.
Clark set a season high with 23 digs in Ashland's 3-2 (25-17, 23-25, 16-25, 25-19, 15-13) come-from-behind win on Saturday (Oct. 24) at Wayne State, and added 13 kills for her ninth double-double of 2015. Also against the Warriors, Clark had a season-best .480 hitting percentage.
In a 3-2 (26-24, 18-25, 25-18, 15-25, 15-11) win on Friday (Oct. 23) night at Saginaw Valley State, Clark had eight kills, two service aces and 18 digs.
Clark finished the weekend with 21 kills, 41 digs and a .246 hitting percentage.
This is Clark's third GLIAC South Division Player of the Week award, with the other two coming during her freshman season of 2013.
Ashland (16-6 overall, 9-2 GLIAC, tied for first in South Division) will play its final two regular-season home matches of 2015 on Friday (Oct. 30) at 7 p.m. against Walsh and on Saturday (Oct. 31) at 2 p.m. vs. Malone. Friday's match is Senior Night, and Saturday's is Parents Day.
