Cudworth Earns CoSIDA Academic Laurels For Second Straight Season

Ashland University outside hitter Alli Cudworth has landed College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors in NCAA Division II, District 4, for the second consecutive fall, as the 2016 teams were released on Thursday (Nov. 3) afternoon.

Cudworth leads the Eagles with 374 kills, 3.67 kills per set, a .232 hitting percentage, 39 service aces and 4.3 points per set. She is second in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in points per set and service aces, and third in kills and kills per set.

A 2015 third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American, Cudworth sports a 3.89 cumulative grade-point average in Integrated Social Studies Education.

Cudworth will advance to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-American ballot in Division II. That team will be announced on Dec. 7.
