For the third consecutive week, an Ashland University volleyball player has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division Player of the Week.

In Week 4, it is junior outside hitter Brooke Peiffer, who garnered her first GLIAC weekly honor as an Eagle on Monday (Sept. 30) afternoon after serving as Ashland's leading attacker in a 3-0 week.

Peiffer finished the week with 47 kills (4.27 per set) and hit an efficient .246 clip on the week, and also added 33 digs (3.0 per set). She had two double-doubles and just missed out on a third last week, going for 10 kills and 11 digs in three sets against Wayne State on Tuesday (Sept. 24). On Friday (Sept. 27), she tallied 20 kills and had 13 digs in five sets at Davenport before posting 17 kills (.353) and nine digs in three sets at Grand Valley State on Saturday (Sept. 28).

In Week 2, sophomore outside hitter Erin Krupar was the GLIAC South Player of the Week. In Week 3, it was sophomore setter Zoey Peck.
