The Ashland University volleyball team will hold a free youth clinic on Saturday (Oct. 26) from 2-3 p.m. in Kates Gymnasium. The clinic will be open to kids in Grades 1-8.
Players will learn volleyball skills from Ashland University players and coaches in a fun environment. Players of all skill levels are invited to participate as the AU players coach fundamental skills through hard work and a positive atmosphere.
Registrations are encouraged, but not required.
At 5 p.m. that day, the AU volleyball team will play conference rival Ferris State in a matchup of two of the top teams in the GLIAC. All youth clinic participants and their families will be granted free admission to the match.
The match, which will have a Halloween theme, will also feature a Halloween costume contest, music DJ, and a Halloween candy toss. The winner of the Halloween costume contest will be featured on the next #WallpaperWednesday on the @goashlandeagles Twitter and Instagram pages.
