 College - As a junior Mion placed ninth in the 1500 and 10th in the 5K at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships. Ran personal bests in both those races. Mion was the lead off leg of the distance medley relay that qualified for the NCAA Championships. Mion made huge jumps as a sophomore in 2012-13. She was AU's top finisher at the Midwest Region cross country championships, finishing 33rd in a field of 158 with a 6K time of 22:23. On the track, she put together personal bests of 4:47.24 for the 1500 and 10:45.52 for the 3K. She was second in the 3K outdoors at the Akron Invitational. Mion was part of the distance medley relay that finished fifth at the GLIAC Championships in 2011-12. During the outdoor season she ran a personal best of 4:54.02 in the 1500 meters to finish eighth at the AU Alumni Open.

High School – In cross country Mion was a member of a state championship team and finished 10^th overall with a time of 18:28 (5K) at the state championships. She ran a personal best of 11:35 (3200) in 2011 and finished fifth at the Regional meet that season. Mion was a member of the 4x800 relay that finished in 9:13 and placed third at the outdoor state championships.
