College: Phelps was a standout during her rookie year as an Eagle. The freshman finished as an All-American, placing 25th at the NCAA cross country championships. She anchored the distance medley relay that finished 11th during indoor nationals in 2014. Finished fifth in the 10K at the GLIAC Championships with a time of 36:33.
High School - Phelps finished third at the state cross country meet in 2012, completing the 5K course in 18:16. She was third in the 1600 at the 2012 state track meet. Her time there was 5:04. Phelps anchored the 4X8 relay to a state title that same season. She returned to the state meet as a senior to claim the championship in the 3200, finishing with a lifetime beest of 10:51.68.
