AU Men Sixth, Women Eighth In GLIAC XC Preseason Poll

As announced by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on Tuesday (Sept. 3) afternoon, Ashland University's men's cross country team is picked sixth, and the Eagle women's team eighth, in the 2019 GLIAC Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll.

The preseason poll mirrors the AU teams' finish at the 2018 GLIAC Championships.

Grand Valley State was chosen to win both the men's and women's conference championships. Saginaw Valley State is picked No. 2 on the men's side, and Michigan Tech No. 2 on the women's side.

Ashland's men and women will begin the 2019 season on Saturday (Sept. 7) at the Northwood Invitational.
