2019 Elite Hurdle Camp

Dates: July 5-6, 2019

Age Range: 6th Grade - 12th Grade Track Athletes

Time: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $150 for 1-Day Only / $225 for 2-Days (Both include lunch and a camp t-shirt)

Camp Details: This camp is specifically designed to give serious hurdlers drills and skills that are crucial for maximizing their genetic speed. Each day is designed by Coach Ernie Clark in a similar way to how he plans and coaches his powerhouse AU Sprint/Hurdle squad. There will be a Q & A session where Coach Clark’s AU sprinters and hurdlers will give advice and speak to campers to help them become successful in their coming season. Lunch will be provided and enjoyed at AU’s Award-Winning Dining Hall. Come join Coach Clark and his elite athletes to get faster! See why his athletes have drastic improvement under his instruction and motivation. Wish you were faster? WISH GRANTED!

*Parents are welcome to observe camp from behind the fence or in the bleachers. Videotaping is prohibited.

What to Bring: Training shoes, water, energy bar, sports drink, sprint spikes. Lunch Provided.

Camp Staff: Coach Clark enters his fourth season as the sprints/hurdles coach with AU after an astonishing season. In 2018 Coach Clark was named National Assistant Coach of the Year. His Ashland University career has now produced 31 NCAA DII National Qualifiers and 18 NCAA All-Americans, and 6 NCAA DII National Champions. This past indoor season the AU Men’s team became NCAA DII INDOOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! Coach Clark’s athletes recorded 90 new marks on the Top 10 list in school history in hurdles, sprints, and relays, including 7 new school records. Coach Clark’s elite collegiate athletes will assist him throughout the camp and classroom sessions. Coach Clark looks forward to coaching and teaching future NCAA Champions!
