For the second year in a row, Ashland University's annual Tuffy's Trick or Treat, sponsored by the AU men's and women's basketball teams, will be a part of the Ashland community's Costume Capers.

The Eagle men and women will hand out candy to kids in attendance on Oct. 25 from 6-7 p.m. at the Founders School of Continuing Education, 121 W. Main Street in Ashland.

"We are excited to give away candy and have fun playing games with all the families that attend this event," said Ashland head men's basketball coach John Ellenwood. "It is a great way for our team and the Ashland community to interact. We will have basketball hoops set up in the street for the trick-or-treaters to shoot some hoop with our team."

Said AU head women's basketball coach Robyn Fralick, "This is a great event for the community, and we are very happy to be part of it. We are thankful that downtown Main Street has such a well-organized event for Halloween, and our team loves being part of the youthful enthusiasm that surrounds trick-or-treating."

Both teams' players will have their uniforms and/or travel suits on, and fans can get autographs and pictures, as well.
