After each home Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest victory in 2015-16, the Donley Ford Auto Group will announce a Player of the Game.
On Thursday, Feb. 25, Ashland University's men's basketball team finished the regular season at 24-4, won the GLIAC South Division outright and earned a split of the conference's overall regular-season title after an 83-65 home win over Lake Erie.
Junior forward Wendell Davis posted game-highs in points (25) and rebounds (nine), and shot 11-of-14 from the field, to earn the Donley Ford Player of the Game!
The Eagles are the No. 2 seed in the 2016 GLIAC Tournament, and will play host to Grand Valley State on Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal contest.
