After each home Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory in 2017-18, the Donley Ford Auto Group announces a Player of the Game.
The AU men's basketball team had five starters score in double figures and the defense held Tiffin to 40 percent shooting from the field in its 87-65 win over Tiffin on Saturday (Jan. 27). Redshirt-freshman guard Aaron Thompson played a major role on both ends of the floor. He shot 4-for-4 from the field and scored a career-high 12 points, while also frustrating the Dragons on the perimeter. He finished with six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Eagles (15-5, 8-4 GLIAC) will travel to Wayne State on Thursday (Feb. 1) in a matchup of the top two teams in the GLIAC South.
